Now this may sound odd, but in all of Savannah's life and maybe mine we have never painted Easter Eggs!! I don't know how it's possible, maybe because we don't eat them we don't think about it?? I don't know, but this year I decided we were going to color easter eggs. We got invited to paint eggs at a friends house and Alison and Cameron had fun!! Savannah was in school so we decided we would just color more after dinner with Savannah. We'll we invited Jenee and Maddaly over as well, (we colored eggs at their house in the morning) and had a coloring fest. Cameron just loved putting the eggs into the colored water and stirring it around. So much so that she didn't want them taken out. We had glittery paint, tie die coloring bags, magic crayons, and plenty of colors to choose from. Savannah did really well with decorating hers, paying attention to detail and sorts. Alison, well she just plowed right through the coloring, she would dip it in a color, wait a bit take it out and do another. She was like an assembly line, all the while saying "I need another one". I actually had a lot of fun coloring eggs too, I can't believe I never did this before!! It will definitely be something we do every year, and maybe even on those days when the sun hasn't come out for few days.
